ETRO WINTER 2026: THE ART OF RETURNING

Every season arrives with the expectation of reinvention, encouraging designers to move further from what came before. At ETRO, the rhythm is different. Creative Director Marco De Vincenzo continues a conversation allowing each collection to build naturally upon the last demonstrating that evolution is often found through listening to what buyers and shoppers want.

That philosophy shapes every aspect of the collection. Familiar ETRO signatures remain present, but none are repeated exactly as before. Paisley returns alongside tartans, trompe l'oeil scarf prints, heraldic references, and motifs inspired by medieval bestiaries. Together they create a visual language that feels collected where distant cultures, histories, and traditions come together. The collection moves with the confidence of a wardrobe assembled over time, each piece carrying its own memory while contributing to a broader narrative.

De Vincenzo has often approached ETRO as an ongoing journey, and Winter 2026 continues that idea. Lean tailoring introduces moments of sharpness. Feather trims interrupt structured silhouettes. Pleated skirts, devoré jacquards, shimmering sequins, and embroidered fantastical creatures create layers of texture that make you want to look a bit closer. Every garment encourages the eye to continue searching, discovering another detail. Neutrals are joined by vivid yellows and rich blues before settling into black. Accessories are an added balance between practicality and decoration, from sturdy boots and sculptural sandals to softly constructed handbags and embroidered pouches. Even the collaboration with Birkenstock feels at home within ETRO's eclectic vocabulary, extending the house's conversation without interrupting it.

What makes Winter 2026 stunning is its confidence in embracing complexity. ETRO continues to expand it, allowing craftsmanship, travel, history, and imagination to exist within the same collection. De Vincenzo understands that a house with such a distinctive heritage does not need to chase novelty. Its strength lies in its ability to evolve while remaining unmistakably itself.

Winter 2026 reminds us that the richest creative identities are rarely fixed. They are shaped by curiosity, memory, and a willingness to keep moving forward without forgetting where they began. At ETRO, every season becomes another chapter in that journey, returning to familiar ideas only to discover them anew.
