MUSIC PRODUCER EVA MINAEVA SPEAKS: AND THE WORLD LISTENS
Vestal sits down with Eva Minaeva for her first interview after a year of silence
Photography KEVIN SINCLAIR
Eva Minaeva is the dearth to women music producers. Her credibility comes with merit after stepping down at her peak, from a two year Gucci Contract to produce music. "Modeling is the seed" she says, "But it's limiting. I would advise those on that path to use the frustration the job brings to light the fire for something bigger... You can change the world with enough frustrations, I believe"
F/W 2019 EDITION
200 reasons to fall back in love with new music. HEIR is flying high and loving it. ALLIE X is Above and Beyond.
As Vestal takes its 4th excursion into print media, we share with you art and voices we love. Voices that communicate value and lead us to carefully curate and create things that are amusing to our lives. This issue is focused on insights from some of our favorite creative people, so it’s essentially about sitting down and listening. There’s an incredible mix of minds throughout this issue. Not only featuring discussions with musicians and artists who have reached great heights in their careers, we also talk to noteworthy fashion influencers with plenty of potential to enrich our understanding of culture. You will explore the talents we appreciate the most, including timeless photography and the precise product captured on camera of young designers making their mark in fashion. Their work will speak to you in different ways and for different reasons. The interviews you’ll read might throw up some surprising responses your way, but that’s partly what makes them so interesting, especially if you are already familiar with their work. Perhaps most notably I have added more fashion driven pages which give us a chance to highlight more designer content that will kick off every issue.
This issue is special for another reason. Vestal is a thrill, a challenge, and an honor which allows me to appreciate the creative process and the incredible attention to detail needed to achieve something that is everlasting and tirelessly inspirational.

When the Eero Saarinen-designed TWA terminal and opened it in 1962, it embodied the glamour and optimism of the jet age. The airport structure was designated a New York City landmark in 1994 and, after its 2001 closure, was listed on the national and New York State registers of historic places in 2005. Now, 18 years after it closed its doors, and less than three years since construction began, the restored building has reopened as a landmark hotel…. Read More
