__ Tell us what readers should know about you, before you release your first EP.
Eva Minaeva __ I’d say that I’m a technician, or rather an engineer; I wouldn’t care to say that I’m an artist. There is something different about these two words wouldn’t you agree? It’s like, rhymes vs math, If that makes sense.
__ What advice would you offer young women who are considering a risky lifestyle change.
Eva Minaeva __ Take the risk and keep your dignity. You know, it’s a strange world we live in; we see far more women losing their dignity and getting famous for it than the alternative. Keeping your dignity is punk at this point.
__ Can you listen to the song on the #1 position on the pop 100 Billboard Chart, and tell us what you think of the track and the musician performing it. Does this music influence youth in a positive way?
Eva Minaeva __ I just checked, its Lizzo: Truth Hurts. I’ve not heard this song before now. It’s low quality to be frank (someone had to say it). Material like this brings people down, it sets a low standard for success and isn’t inspiring, it’s more reactionary and built around media trends. You know, labels use the analytics on Spotify and compare it with media trends to fuel a quick response on streaming platforms. They don’t care about quality. The truth hurts but that is the truth.
Your music career will officiate in less than two months, what is the purpose of this project?
Eva Minaeva __ It will give me purpose. It allows me to stream my message to the world in my individual way.
__ What advice would you give you 16 year old self?
Eva Minaeva __ Care less about what people think and be ready to be critiqued for being your self, so long as you are trying to be your self.
Give us a message to deliver to the Russian Youth.
Eva Minaeva __ Read the books your leaders read, not the ones they tell you to read. Be mindful of what you are putting into your mind.
__ What does it mean to be a female music producer or artist, do you feel the industry is more challenging for women?
“Take the risk and keep your dignity. You know, it’s a strange world we live in; we see far more women losing their dignity and getting famous for it than the alternative. Keeping your dignity is punk at this point.”
Eva Minaeva __ It’s more challenging surely, I see it like this... the quality of the women artists that are supported is low, so the public expects low of them; it then creates a situation where the industry doesn’t value true talent as much and are more inclined to embrace outrageous female performers. The message to young women is then to not become skilled, but to become silly and do what you are told to get reactions. The strong technical women are not part of the business model.
__ How should society change?
Eva Minaeva __ Too many humans and not enough souls; Too many outcries and not enough risk takers.
__ Would you prefer fun or Danger?
Eva Minaeva __ Hmm...I’d choose adventure, danger is fun in this respect.
__ Is risk necessary for success?
Eva Minaeva __ Russia they say “Who’s not taking risks, doesn’t get champagne.” If you want for something, or better, want for everything; you should be ready to sacrifice everything.
__ Would you prefer to be feared or loved?
Eva Minaeva __ Feared.
__ What is the meaning of sacrificing for the greater good?
Eva Minaeva __ Well, it starts with being able to openly talk about the decay, in anything. From there, suppose you have to empty the water from glass before pouring wine.
__ Who is someone in the past who you admire that others might not agree with?
Eva Minaeva __ Do you know Lady Diana Mosely? History whispers negatively on her because of her opposing political views; she was graceful, absolute, unyielding, and dignified. When I think of women to admire, I don’t look for those who followed the path of least resistance.
Hat VICTOR OSBORNE, dress EZIE.
__ Tell me one thing you believe that others do not typically agree with you on.
Eva Minaeva __ Being free doesn’t mean to lose your discipline.
__ What makes you confident about the next phase in your life?
Eva Minaeva __ Myself and my management, Lead+Develop. Together we are the new era of creative collaboration.
