Freier, a Slovak fashion brand founded by Terézia Feňovčíková in 2018, is making a mark with its unique designs. The latest collection, LV-426, is inspired by Ellen Ripley from James Cameron's 1986 film Aliens. Ripley's resilience and independence are echoed in 18 distinct silhouettes, each reflecting elements of her iconic uniform and character evolution. The collection’s intricate textile patterns are crafted in partnership with Flace, and the original machine knits are developed with designer Bronislava Žurková Brůčková. Supported by the Slovak Arts Council (Fond na podporu umenia), LV-426 emphasizes functionality and strength, moving away from traditional beauty standards.

Freier’s thoughtful and boundary-pushing approach to fashion celebrates resilience and personal expression, encouraging wearers to embrace their inner strength and individuality.
